To understand the importance of Mindfulness in stress reduction and your emotional development, as well as it's daily application.

Program

MBSR is a experiential psico-educational program, based on the development of mindfulness techniques (full attention) and psico-educational approaches in the area of stress management, emotional and mental regulation, mindfulness application in different components of the daily experience, including:
  • Becoming aware of the body - reaction vs response;
  • Sense perception;
  • Overcoming some obstacules thus reaching a greater well-being and happiness;
  • Understanding how the body reacts to stress;
  • Basic notions on meditation;
  • Basic notions on non-violent communication;
  • Aplying Mindfulness on the day to day

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a program based on Mindfulness Techniques, developed by Dr Jon Kabat Zinn, in 1979, in the Dep. of Medicine of Massachusetts University, in the U.S.A.

Our program is directed by António Costa, a Qualified Teacher in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.

Format

On-site sessions with a maximum of 20 participants

Duration

8 weekly sessions + 1 extra session in an intensive format (half-day retreat)
